New year, new problems. Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is back at Nevermore Academy in the Wednesday Season 2, Part 1 teaser, and she is up against a new foe: She discovers during one of her psychic visions that she is somehow to blame for the death of her roommate and best friend, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers). She claims that she is solely to blame for Enid’s death.
Co-creator Miles Millar tells Tudum, “Wednesday has to navigate a lot of relationships in Season 2, primarily with her mother and with Enid.” She learns that those interactions are not casual and are dangerous. We were determined to come up with some fresh challenges for Wednesday. She believes she has everything under control and finds that interacting with others is more difficult than she initially believed.
“Wednesday and Enid now have a stronger understanding of one another,” Myers informs Tudum. “Exploring that friendship with Jenna is enjoyable.”
Wednesday has to work quickly to unravel another mystery while Enid’s fate is at stake. In the trailer, she states, “The Addams family’s foundation is secrets.” “I can save Enid—or die trying—the sooner I can find the answers.” Her mother, Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones), might have some answers, according to the trailer. After she begins to cry black tears during a vision, she informs a normally glum Wednesday, “I know what those tears mean.”
