One student from the same college has spoken up about Monojit Mishra’s “fear” on campus, just days after he was arrested in connection with the rape of a 24-year-old law student in Kolkata.
After the survivor reported that he had raped her on the grounds of the South Calcutta Law College, the principal accused, Monojit Mishra, and two other people were taken into custody.
Another college student has now come forward to claim that ladies on campus would think about skipping courses in order to avoid interacting with Mishra. According to the student, who spoke to NDTV under anonymity, a number of students “feared” Mishra.
