Reactor Blast at Telangana Chemical Plant: 12 Dead, 34 Injured

SANGAREDDY: Telangana Health Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha revealed that 12 people had died as a result of Monday’s explosion at a pharmaceutical facility in the district.

The explosion, which was allegedly caused by a suspected chemical reaction, injured at least 34 persons.

Up to 12 persons have passed away, and 34 are still undergoing treatment. “We hope there won’t be any more casualties,” the minister said to reporters.

During his visit to the location, Labour Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy said, “Eight people died in the morning.” Four more bodies have now been discovered.
