Red Cross Society rescue team member Satyendra Singh Bhandari told PTI that two dead had been found: one from the river close to Rudraprayag and the other close to the accident scene. According to him, ten persons went missing and seven people—including three women and two children—were hurt in the collision. The injured have been sent to the hospital.
When the car plunged into the river, 20 people—including the driver—were inside, Bhandari continued.
According to the injured, the accident happened at around 7:30 a.m. while the tempo traveler was heading for the Badrinath Dham.
