Sadly, Dileep Shankar was discovered dead in a Thiruvananthapuram hotel room on December 29, 2024. Four days before, he had arrived at the hotel to shoot his ongoing series Panchagni. When hotel employees noticed a bad odor coming from his room, they found his dead. Although there have been no reports of foul play, authorities have opened an inquiry.
